I love my brothers. 

I really hope that Dan finds something that is worth risking the comfortable familiarity. I hope Bryan figures out that he deserves to respect himself, and that he can do a lot more than what he’s been doing. I hope Steven doesn’t forsake what’s left of his childhood as a close observer of his brothers and father as they try to keep their heads above the water.

I can’t help but wonder how things would’ve turned out differently had our parents been able to remain married. It’s a shame that we’re so far apart from one another. But I look forward to being settled and having a place for everyone to gather.
